...On the Eve of what would have been your 70th Birthday...
I thought you would like to know that I am religiously batting away slugs and snails off your tree Mum at 5:30 in the morning! I have memories of you and Uncle Peter digging large trenches in the garden to stop the slugs and snails reaching your runner beans amongst other vegetables!
It is still hard to reach yet another year without celebrating our birthdays together. You are greatly missed and spoken about in our family on almost a daily basis... Mostly reminissing about the cheekiness and silliness!
