I first met Caroline in the kitchen of halls of residence when I was moving in to begin my law degree. My first impression was that she was kind, easy to talk to and obviously loved her daughter.We got chatting and she told me that she was helping her daughter move in. I’m very thankful and blessed that Sarah became one of my best friends who I think of as a little sister. I got to know Caroline better the following year when Sarah and I shared a house together. Caroline was a very easy person to talk to, who was full of fun. Over the years I would sometimes ask her for advice or prayer and she always made time for me. The last time I saw her was at Sarah and Ben’s wedding. It was a lovely happy day and especially for remembering how proud and full of joy Caroline was. George, Sarah and Andrew and the rest of the family you are in my thoughts and prayers today.
