Marie-Louise 4th April 2020

Caroline (Miss Pavely to me!) was my ballet teacher in Livingston for 7 years. Often there were just two of us in the class (Shelby and me) and we were quite a challenge with our teenage hormones running high! Caroline was incredibly calm, patient and tolerant with us and always managed to maintain her sense of humour. She was a perfectionist; she had high expectations and standards and was a stickler for perfect technique. These qualities have shaped the person I am today and, for that, I am truly grateful. It always struck me as a child how happy Caroline and George were together with all their antics, joking and laughing, especially when George helped out in our ballet lessons by playing the piano! You are a truly special soul, Caroline. Sleep peacefully, beautiful angel. Marie-Louise Gough (née Maureso)
