Caroline was a good friend to many, including those in the Spicer Street Chapel Dorcas Group (a group set up to be an encouragement to the church family, and others, through needlework). Caroline made every card given out with gifts to new mothers, adding some miniature knitting to each one. She also carefully mounted all the thank you cards we received in an album. This was typical of what she did – making beautiful things to be an encouragement without looking for any acknowledgement. We will all miss Caroline's cheerful presence at our meetings. She often went out of her way to make sure everyone had a lift so that they didn't miss out. I, personally, will miss my friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Susan Deacon
